Christopher J. Baione didn’t just choose 9/11 law; he was raised in the community it serves. Growing up in Staten Island, he witnessed the resilience of the responders and survivors who returned home from Ground Zero—and the devastating illnesses that followed years later.
Named after his grandfather, FDNY Lieutenant Christopher J. Baione, who died of cancer attributed to his service, Christopher saw a familiar struggle in his own neighborhood. This personal connection drove him to devote his entire legal career to the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF).
